Living in a postcard
Travel opportunities to picture postcard perfection destinations have multiplied. From Cinque Terre to Venice, London or Barcellona, and Norwegian fjords, the film explores mass tourism sites and asks whether it is sustainable: can popular tourism balance the needs of travelers and residents? Tourism halted with the March 2020 lockdown and its problems suddenly disappeared. But for how long? Sociologist Giovanni Semi and other experts of the Responsible Tourism Movement talk about the effects the lockdown had and help us understand the outcomes.
