We will start from the Mavrocordat Palace with a fascinating history and architecture, which today houses the Scuola Italiana “Aldo Moro”.
We will see exactly how the architect August Schmiedigen and the architect G. M. Cantacuzino, together with the enterprise of Tiberiu Eremia, left their mark on a hidden building, but located right in the heart of the city. Here was one of the headquarters of the Security and hides legends.
Then, we will visit another palace, a private residence, the Victor Ionescu Palace, the Romanian ambassador to Portugal and the brother of Take Ionescu (prime minister and, in turn, a great politician), a palace that was built in 1914 according to the plans of the architect Victor Stephănescu. We will tell about architecture, architects and great personalities.
