► Saturday, November 11, between 12:00 and 14:00, we will be at the foot of the Mitropolia Hill.

Meeting point: Ienachita Vacarescu nr. 50
First, we will discover a neo-Romanian-style house at the confluence of the Sf. Ecaterina and Flămanda slums that is undergoing restoration. Ienăchiță House, its courtyard and its heritage are opened to the residents, becoming an example of good practices for a correct restoration.
We will find out how the history of the plot is related to the architect Ernest Doneaud and how it is integrated into the urban fabric of the slum. We will find out the history of the Culina-Simotta plot and discover the interior of the house on Aleea Mitropoliei that houses the Madrigal Choir, a house designed by architect Alfred Popper in the interwar period for the limited partner Sascha Silberman Roman.

► Saturday, November 11, between 15:00 and 16:30

Meeting point: Intrarea Blaj 1

We will start from the Mavrocordat Palace with a fascinating history and architecture, which today houses the Scuola Italiana “Aldo Moro”.
We will see exactly how the architect August Schmiedigen and the architect G. M. Cantacuzino, together with the enterprise of Tiberiu Eremia, left their mark on a hidden building, but located right in the heart of the city. Here was one of the headquarters of the Security and hides legends.
Then, we will visit another palace, a private residence, the Victor Ionescu Palace, the Romanian ambassador to Portugal and the brother of Take Ionescu (prime minister and, in turn, a great politician), a palace that was built in 1914 according to the plans of the architect Victor Stephănescu.
