Collective

The film offers a behind-the-scenes look at the key events that unfolded after the fire at the Colectiv club in Bucharest, in October 2015. Following journalists, whistleblowers, burn victims, and government officials, the film exposes an entire network of corruption, deceit, and manipulation.

Ten years after the tragedy, we will take a moment to reflect — but also to question the extent to which this event has truly brought about change.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Alexander Nanau and Mihai Grecea, a Colectiv survivor.
