This film takes shape in the form of an investigative documentary, exploring a town adrift: Chi\u0219in\u0103u. Joined by a group of researchers, academics, architects, sociologists, urban activists and visual artists, the director probed the transformation processes and the urban planning undergone by the city before and after the proclamation of Independence at 1991. The quondam core of the city \u2013 enclosing heritage buildings, small streets, junctions and squares \u2013 is at risk of being altered by the new plan of urban development.
