In the heart of Rome, an apartment has remained untouched since 1958. It is the house-studio where Giacomo Balla, one of the most important Futurist painters and a key figure of the early 20th-century European avant-garde, spent the last thirty years of his life. The entire space \u2014 from floor to ceiling \u2014 was painted, transformed, and personalized by the artist together with his two daughters, Elica and Luce.<\/p>\n

In the spring of 2020, during the height of the lockdown, directors B\u00eaka & Lemoine entered this world-shielded space that had remained undisturbed for more than six decades. The camera follows them in their slow movements through the rooms, capturing objects, colors, and traces left by time, evoking in the viewer the same sense of wonder experienced by the first explorers of great archaeological sites.<\/p>\n
