She is a Research Associate at the Center for Metropolitan Studies, Technical University of Berlin, and affiliated researcher at the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge. Her research has been published in the<em> Annals of the American Association of Geographers, The Journal of Architecture, <\/em>and<em> Dialogues in Human Geography<\/em>, among other journals. She hasco-edited (with Matthew Gandy) <em>The Botanical City<\/em> (Jovis, forthcoming) andis currently completing her first monograph on the experimental spaces of West Berlin. He lives and works in Warsaw. Bednarski studied history and filmmaking in North America and Europe. His documentary film work with the National Film Board of Canada has garnered him a Gemini Award and a Writers Guild of Canada Award nomination, and he was awarded the Decoration of Honour \u201cMeritorious for Polish Culture\u201d by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2015. Bednarski\u2019s films have been broadcast across the world and have also screened at international festivals, at the United Nations, the European Parliament and the State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:25% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"666\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/01-Ilinca-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5699\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/01-Ilinca-1.jpg 666w, https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/01-Ilinca-1-278x300.jpg 278w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 666px) 100vw, 666px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ilinca P\u0103un Constantinescu <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in Bucharest in 1982, Ilinca P\u0103un Constantinescu earned her PhD degree in architecture in 2013. She currently practices architecture at Ideogram Studio, teaches theory of architecture at &#8220;Ion Mincu&#8221; University of Architecture and Urbanism Bucharest, and leads cultural projects within the IDEILAGRAM Association. Together with her team from IDEILAGRAM, she edited Shrinking Cities in Romania. She\nis an architect and documents, teaches and writes about architecture in recent\ntimes, about how the heritage can be understood, re-evaluated and assumed\ntoday. She was involved in variuos cultural projects, exhibits and summer\nschools on this topic. In 2017, she joined the team of rangers at the V\u0103c\u0103re\u0219ti Natural Park Association working on educational and conservation projects in the park. In her spare time, she&#8217;s a volunteer at Kogayon Association where she took part, since 2004, in educational and infrastructure set up in Buila-V\u00eenturari\u021ba National Park. She has experience as coach assistant in photography class at the National Film University in Bucharest and as a film tutor in documentary film workshops. She was working as director of photography for several feature documentary films and she co-directed one of them (\u201cLow Cost\u201d, Arte TV-France\/TVR-Romania, 2006). Many of these films were selected at well-known film festivals (Berlin, Rotterdam and many others). A member of the Romanian Cinematographer Association, collaborating with Corbis Agency in Paris, her work as photographer was published in many magazines of Romania and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is the director of Timebox.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:25% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"402\" height=\"604\" src=\"https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Corina-Tranca-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5708\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Corina-Tranca-1.jpg 402w, https:\/\/urbaneye.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Corina-Tranca-1-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 402px) 100vw, 402px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Corina Tranc\u0103 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A graduate from the Horticulture and Landscaping Faculty at U.S.A.M.V.B.\u00a0in 2009 (the last class with 5 years of study), in the same year she became a member of the Bucharest-Ilfov Landscaping Association and started studying at the Integrated Urban Development Master at the Faculty of Architecture &#8220;Ion\u00a0Mincu&#8221;. Currently, she is a landscape engineer with a portfolio of over 50 private gardens, commercial spaces and residential neighborhoods and also hundreds of volunteer hours in different educational and professional activities in the past 10 years.
