UrbanEye Film Festival and Assamblage The National Association for Contemporary Jewelery launches a challenge for the creatives from Bucharest: a contest consisting in reinterpreting images of the urban landscape in contemporary jewelery, followed by a 2 day workshop held by the Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewelery.

Coordinated by the designer David Sandu Jewelry, the workshop challenges its participants to explore and experiment the texturing of metal surfaces, starting from images or architectural details reinterpreted two-dimensionally.

The experiements’ purpose is to make items of contemporary jewelery, that are to be exhibited at the Understanding Design Exposition (4-5 November) that will be held at ARCUB. After that, the objects will remain the property of the organisers.

The applicants will send the following information by 15 October, to the following address: contact@assamblage.org. The subject of the e-mail will be: “Aplication_Surname.Name”:

- a photo that has to underline the importance of texture in the architecture of the city.

- a justification of the photo (max. 300 caracters)

- CV

* Participation is free of charge within the allocated spots.

** Prior experience is not mandatory

Best of luck!
